Chris is the co-founder and President of Franchise Flippers, the world’s largest franchise resale

Chris supports numerous organizations as a C level executive, advisor, investor, and board
member directly, and through his involvement with incubators supporting entrepreneurs building
high-growth companies.
He defers most non-business decisions to his partner Lora, four daughters, and 6 grandchildren!
He lives in Fort Collins, Colorado and Traverse City, Michigan.
Rick is a Senior Safety Consultant with the Risk Management Division of Keystone Insurers Group, where he specializes in consulting and conducting client requests related to the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. Before joining Keystone, Rick managed various businesses, including HVAC/plumbing and over-the-road trucking companies.
He possesses extensive training and hands-on experience in human resources (HR), information technology (IT), safety, OSHA, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
Rick has held several committee and leadership positions, including serving on a school board, a development board, the Iowa Motor Truck Association, a local aviation/airport board, and an HR chapter, among others. An avid self-learner, Rick has gained substantial knowledge through books, computer based training, networking, and practical experience.
Colan started in local SEO in 2010 and became a Google Product Expert in 2014. He joined Sterling Sky in 2017 as VP of Local Search, leading strategy, audits, and contributing heavily to the sales team. He also participates in Sterling Sky–hosted events, most recently speaking at LocalU Nashville in September 2025.
